In 1997, American astronauts took the lead in using aerogel as a thermal insulation material on the Mars probe explorer in the space field. China's Mars probe "Question-1" and Mars rover "Zhurong" also used aerogel materials to fight the temperature test of Mars "ice and fire".

Aerogel gel board is an ideal thermal insulation material for roof and wall. Aerogel gel coating is applied to the exterior wall, interior wall, top and bottom to play an efficient thermal insulation role.

Nanoporous aerogel composite thermal insulation materials have been successfully used in high-speed trains, domestic C919 passenger aircraft and other transportation vehicles.
